She has lived in Virginia, New Jersey, Louisiana, England, relocated back to New Jersey and now resides in Texas.  The re-locations are mainly due to her husband’s business career advances as a Senior Finance Executive.

Charlease has been working in the ministry field for the last 20 years teaching, training and leading people to study the word of God inductively with various ministries alongside her church.  She has led several Bible study groups and training workshops as a Precept Leader for 17 years.  Most recently, she has worked as a non-paid staff volunteer for Precept Ministries International as an Area Team Leader in the Houston Area for the last 6 years. Prior to that she served as a Discussion Leader in Bible Study Fellowship for 10 years in addition to participating in studies for 17 years. Charlease attended Longwood University and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation.

Charlease has a great passion for engaging people in God’s Word in order to win souls for His Kingdom. She believes if you discover the truth of who God is and His precepts, your life will never be the same.

Once Charlease was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Large B-Cell Lymphoma, she knew she had to walk in her healing in a manner worthy of being called a child of the Most High God.  Her commitment during chemotherapy was to be a living witness that God still performs miracles.  Her cancer walk is a miracle walk of faith trusting God to heal and protect her no matter how hard the battle became. She is currently penning her book entitled “God is Bigger Than Lymphoma.”  It is a detailed account of her journey through the trials of cancer and how she persevered through God’s healing mercy. Her story teaches others how they can encourage friends and loved ones diagnosed with any type of cancer.
